Em uma rede social, o irmão da Elizamar publicou que os corpos são da irmã e dos sobrinhos, mas a polícia não confirmou.
Elizamar desapareceu após sair para buscar o marido, de 30 anos, na casa da sogra, na região do Itapoã. Nesta segunda, a Polícia Civil do DF informou que ele também está desaparecido, assim como o sogro de Elizamar, a sogra e uma cunhada dela.
Na noite de domingo (15), uma segunda ocorrência foi registrada informando o desaparecimento de Thiago e seus familiares.

No fim de semana a polícia havia encontrado o carro do sogro da cabeleireira na região de Unaí (MG), divisa com o DF. Dentro havia mais dois corpos que também não foram identificados.
A Polícia Civil de Minas Gerais disse que os corpos foram encaminhados para o Posto Médico Legal da cidade.

O desaparecimento de Thiago, dos pais dele e da irmã foi registrado no domingo (15), na 33ª Delegacia de Polícia, em Santa Maria.
