Ministério Público Federal acredita que coronel Fábio Augusto Vieira, sabia da gravidade sas ameaças aos prédio públicos
O Ministério Público Federal defendeu, em manifestação enviada ao Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF), a manutenção da prisão preventiva do ex-comandante da Polícia Militar do Distrito Federal coronel Fábio Augusto Vieira, investigado pelos atos de vandalismo contra as sedes dos Três Poderes no 8 de janeiro.
Segundo o subprocurador geral da República Carlos Frederico Santos, “não houve nenhuma modificação da situação de fato ou de direito” desde a decisão do relator que determinou a medida cautelar. O representante do MPF afirma não ser crível que Fábio Vieira “desconhecesse a gravidade dos atos que se avizinhavam”, tanto que, pessoalmente, foi para o local dos fatos para acompanhar todos os seus desdobramentos.
“O que se tem, até esse momento, é uma hipótese criminal que autoriza a custódia cautelar do requerente, porque, ainda que haja necessidade de delimitação de outras responsabilidades e alguns contornos fáticos, há evidências de que o requerente sabia, podia e devia ter agido”, diz trecho da manifestação.
O Ministério Público Federal pede que o ministro relator determine que a Polícia Federal apresente, em 15 dias, relatório parcial das investigações, inclusive com a análise do material apreendido em diligências anteriores.
