Investigação mostra falta de planejamento e ações adequados contra invasão do Palácio do Planalto

O inquérito militar aberto para investigar os responsáveis por proteger o Palácio do Planalto no dia 8 janeiro livra os militares do Exército e aponta indícios de responsabilidade da Secretaria de Segurança e Coordenação Presidencial que integra a pasta do Gabinete de Segurança Institucional (GSI).

O relatório foi finalizado em março, mas passou por uma complementação neste mês. As investigações apontam que se houvesse um planejamento adequado, logo no início do governo de Lula, seria possível ter evitado a invasão do palácio ou minimizado os estragos.

O relatório culpa a secretaria do GSI pelos ataques e estragos no Palácio do Planalto, mas não cita nomes.

O inquérito também ressalta que “no âmbito do GSI, ‘resta evidente’ que ‘o planejamento, o acionamento e o emprego’ de militares ‘no tocante às ações ligadas à manutenção da integridade física do Palácio do Planalto e adjacências’ cabe à secretaria”.

O documento diz que a responsabilidade de acionar o Exército era da Secretaria de Segurança e Coordenação Presidencial. Por isso, os militares da corporação ficaram livres de acusações.
