Em março deste ano, o advogado Ravik de Barros Bello Ribeiro, filho do desembargador Cândido Ribeiro, do Tribunal Regional Federal da 1ª Região (TRF-1) foi alvo da PF em investigação sobre venda de sentença.
O advogado e o pai dele, desembargador são suspeitos de venda de sentenças para traficantes. Caso pai e filho venham a responder pelos crimes poderão ser condenados a até 12 anos de prisão, caso o STF não retroaja a criação de sua nova lei.
