Idosas israelenses foram soltas nesta segunda-feira
O Hamas divulgou nesta segunda-feira (23) a libertação de duas dos mais de 200 reféns em poder do grupo. As mulheres libertadas são idosas israelenses identificadas como Nurit Yitzhak e Yochved Lifshitz.
Abu Obeida, porta-voz do braço militar do Hamas, o Al-Qassam, afirmou que elas foram libertadas “por razões humanitárias urgentes”, graças à mediação do Catar e do Egito. Segundo ele, o grupo tentou libertá-las na sexta-feira (20), mas Israel se negou a recebe-las.
O governo de Israel confirmou a que as reféns chegaram à passagem de Rafah, nas fronteira da Faixa de Gaza com o Egito.
Esta é a segunda soltura de reféns sequestradas pelo Hamas. Na sexta-feira, duas cidadãs dos Estados Unidos, mãe e filha, foram soltas pelo grupo terrorista.
Mais de 200 pessoas foram sequestradas por terroristas durante o ataque perpetrado pelo Hamas no sul de Israel em 7 de outubro, quando homens armados também mataram 1.402 pessoas em solo israelense.
A maioria dos reféns é israelense, mas, segundo as Forças Armadas de Israel, há também cidadãos dos Estados Unidos, do Reino Unido, da Ucrânia, da Itália e do Brasil entre os reféns.
O Itamaraty informou não ter recebido nenguma comunicação sobre brasileiros entre os sequestrados.
