Unicef afirma que 120 bebês prematuros correm risco e Israel diz para pedirem para o Hamas
A diretora de comunicações da Agência da ONU para refugiados palestinos (UNRWA), Juliette Touma disse nesta quarta-feira (25) que a entidade precisa de combustível para suas operações na Faixa de Gaza e, se não houver abastecimento até a noite de hoje, o atendimento será interrompido.
A UNRWA informou que abriga 600 mil pessoas em 150 instalações em Gaza. O número é quatro vezes maior que a capacidade máxima que o local abriga. Dessa forma, há famílias dormindo nas ruas.
O Fundo das Nações Unidas para a Infância (Unicef) disse no domingo (22) que as vidas de 120 bebês em incubadoras estão em risco à medida que se esgota o combustível para os geradores de energia elétrica na Faixa de Gaza.
Segundo as Forças de Defesa de Israel, os tanques de combustível de Gaza contém cerca de 500 mil litros e sugeriu que a ONU solicite combustível para os terroristas. “Estes tanques de combustível estão dentro de Gaza”, afirmaram as FDI, publicando novamente a imagem de 12 tanques de óleo diesel no solo, próximo à passagem de Rafah.
“Há combustível em Gaza para abastecer hospitais e bombear água”, acrescentou o porta-voz das FDI, Jonathan Conricus, em outra publicação. “Mas o Hamas prefere usar o combustível para continuar a combater Israel. Todos aqueles que afirmam o contrário estão acobertando os crimes do próprio Hamas”, completou.
