Trecho de 24 kilometros onde ocorrem acidentes fatais será duplicado
A BR-080 será duplicada em um trecho de 24 km ligando Brazlândia a Taguatinga. A duplicação da via terá investimento de R$ 315 milhões e vai beneficiar cerca de 80 mil motoristas que trafegam pelo local diariamente. A obra é fruto de uma parceria do Governo do Distrito Federal (GDF) com a União.
A duplicação compreende um trecho entre o entroncamento com a DF-001, em Taguatinga, e a divisa do DF com Goiás, próximo ao Povoado da Vendinha.
A assinatura do termo entre o GDF e o governo federal contou com a presença, além do governador Ibaneis Rocha, da vice-governadora do Distrito Federal, Celina Leão e representando o governo federal, o ministro dos Transportes, Renan Filho.
Renan recordou que a obra é um pedido do GDF atendido pela União dentro do PAC, o que reforça o pacto federativo. “Essa obra vai mudar definitivamente a vida dos moradores de Brazlândia e vai acelerar a vida dos moradores de Brasília e de quem passa por aqui. É um sonho histórico que se realiza, uma parceria do presidente Lula com o governador Ibaneis Rocha. Não é uma obra barata, custou R$ 315 milhões e é importante lembrar que a bancada federal do DF priorizou investimentos aqui”, afirmou.
A obra faz parte do Plano de Governo 2023-2026 e foi incluída no novo Programa de Aceleração do Crescimento (PAC), lançado pelo governo federal em agosto deste ano.
Quando concluída, a BR-080 será um local de melhor circulação e ligação da área leste do DF com o estado de Goiás e demais estados da região, como Tocantins e Mato Grosso. Ela também fortalece a agricultura em uma região dominante nesse setor para o DF.
“Para nós que militamos na política do DF essa obra é de suma importância para todos. Tivemos a oportunidade de trabalhar muito para que ela fosse incluída no PAC. Nós pedimos ao governo federal a prioridade a essa obra da BR-080 e essa obra vai ser entregue no nosso mandato, essa é uma das vitórias mais importantes da história de Brazlândia em seus 90 anos”, disse o governador Ibaneis Rocha durante a assinatura da ordem de serviço para início dos trabalhos, que vão ficar a cargo do Departamento Nacional de Infraestrutura de Transportes (Dnit).
