O governador do Distrito Federal, Ibaneis Rocha inaugurou uma fábrica de pré-moldados que passa a funcionar dentro do presídio da Papuda .
A inauguração ocorreu na manhã desta sexta-feira (1º), com a presença de autoridades do Judiciário, do Legislativo e do Executivo.
Durante a cerimônia, o governador destacou a importância da ressocialização e falou do trabalho de melhoria das condições de trabalho dos policiais penais.
“O trabalho é a única maneira de reconduzir essas pessoas à sociedade, para que elas saiam com uma qualificação melhor do que quando entraram aqui. Essas pessoas não estão isoladas aqui para o resto de suas vidas, e nós temos condições de dar oportunidade para elas voltarem para a sociedade” disse o governador Ibaneis Rocha.
A fábrica foi instalada num pavilhão desativado do Complexo Prisional da Papuda que foi transformado numa unidade da Fábrica Social voltada para a produção de pré-moldados da construção civil.
O espaço será ocupado por 35 custodiados do regime semiaberto, que vão produzir meios-fios, tampas de bueiros e pisos intertravados, material destinado a reformas por todas as regiões.
Para sair do papel, o projeto envolveu diversas frentes do GDF, como as secretarias de Administração Penitenciária (Seape), de Justiça e Cidadania (Sejus) e de Desenvolvimento Econômico, Trabalho e Renda (Sedet).
Segundo o governo, essa união de forças reflete na produção em grande escala da fábrica. Ao todo, serão mais de 26 itens produzidos, com capacidade de aproximadamente 8 mil peças por dia. “
O espaço do presídio foi inaugurado em 1979 e estava ocioso desde 2021, quando foi desativado. Em 2001, o local passou por uma rebelião dos internos que durou 28 horas, a última do local. Depois de um período sem uso, o galpão terá uma rotina de serviços e qualificação.
Além da fábrica, o espaço conta com um laboratório onde os alunos têm aulas de produção e aprendem a parte teórica dos cursos. Já os equipamentos que compõem a fábrica de pré-moldados vão desde betoneiras de alta capacidade a mesas vibratórias, passando por fôrmas metálicas para meio-fio e diversas outras para a produção de pré-moldados e artefatos de concreto.
