Saque-aniversário do FGTS permite ao trabalhador sacar parte do saldo das contas ativas e inativas do FGTS, no mês de seu aniversário
O presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva já deu aval ao plano de acabar com o saque-aniversário do Fundo de Garantia por Tempo de Serviço (FGTS).
A informação foi dada pelo ministro do Trabalho, Luiz Marinho que afirmou que disse que o projeto deve ser enviado em novembro ao Congresso, logo após as eleições.
O saque-aniversário do FGTS permite ao trabalhador sacar parte do saldo das contas ativas e inativas do FGTS, anualmente, no mês de seu aniversário. O sistema foi mplementado em 2020,
Hoje em caso de demissão, o trabalhador pode sacar apenas o valor referente à multa rescisória (multa de 40% paga pela empresa), e não o valor integral acumulado na conta do fundo, se tiver feito o sacque aniversário.
Segundo Marinho, em troca desse tipo de saque, o governo vai propor um novo formato para que o trabalhador do setor privado possa ter mais acesso a crédito consignado, aquele que é pago com descontos direto no salário.
Desde quando o saque foi criado, mais de 9 milhões de trabalhadores foram demitidos e não puderam receber o dinheiro que eles têm no FGTS por causa das regras do saque-aniversário, a que esses trabalhadores decidiram aderir voluntariamente.
Por conta disso, ficaram impedidos de resgatar, ao todo, R$ 5 bilhões.
