Queda do avião Hércules C-130 tem oito mortes confirmadas até a última atualização desta reportagem
Um avião da Força Aérea da Colômbia caiu nesta segunda-feira (23) com mais de 120 militares a bordo, segundo o governo. O presidente da Colômbia, Gustavo Petro, confirmou 77 ocupantes resgatados com vida e hospitalizados. Destes, 14 estão em estado grave. Oito mortes foram confirmadas até a última atualização desta reportagem.
O acidente aconteceu na região de Putamayo, no sul do país. O governador de Putumayo, Jhon Gabriel Molina Acosta, informou que ao menos oito pessoas morreram e 15 estão em estado grave. Segundo balanço inicial da Força Aeroespacial, 48 feridos foram resgatados com vida. A Prefeitura de Puerto Leguízamo fala em 69 pessoas resgatadas.
O avião Hércules C-130 que caiu pertencia à Força Aeroespacial colombiana. A aeronave é um dos modelos mais utilizados no mundo e consegue transportar até 150 pessoas.
Arnulfo disse que “ainda não foi possível determinar com precisão o número de vítimas nem as causas do acidente”. O ministro da Defesa afirmou ainda que equipes de resgate estão no local do acidente prestando socorro às vítimas, e que uma investigação foi aberta para apurar o ocorrido.
