levantamento divulgado nesta quarta-feira (8) mostra que o país soma atualmente cerca de 33,1 milhões de pessoas sem ter o que comer diariamente, quase o dobro do contingente em situação de fome estimado em 2020.
Segundo o governo federal, as exportações de carne bovina brasileira registraram o valor recorde de US$ 1,10 bilhão para o mês de abril (+56,2%), com expansão do volume exportado (+22,1%) e do preço médio de exportação (+27,9%).
Nas exportações de carne de frango, o valor alcançado é recorde para toda a série histórica, com US$ 802,80 milhões (+34,3%). A quantidade exportada de carne de frango subiu 5,6%, enquanto o preço médio de exportação subiu 27,2% comparado a abril de 2021.
Outro recorde produzido pelo país é o da fome. Em relação a 2020, houve um aumento de 14 milhões de pessoas em insegurança alimentar grave.
Cerca de 33,1 milhões de pessoas no Brasil passam fome no país atualmente, de acordo com o 2º Inquérito Nacional sobre Insegurança Alimentar no Contexto da Pandemia da Covid no Brasil, levantamento realizado pela Rede Brasileira de Pesquisa em Soberania e Segurança Alimentar e Nutricional.
Foram feitas entrevistas em 12.745 lares do país, em áreas urbanas e rurais de 577 municípios, distribuídos nos 26 estados e no DF.
