A Polícia Federal (PF) deflagrou nesta quinta-feira (18) uma nova fase da Operação Sem Desconto, que investiga um esquema de descontos criminosos em aposentadorias e pensões do Instituto Nacional de Seguro Social (INSS).
Um dos alvos é o senador Weverton Rocha (PDT-MA), assim como um assessor dele. O secretário-executivo do Ministério da Previdência, Aldroaldo Portal, foi afastado do cargo e teve prisão domiciliar decretada.
A PF também prendeu Romeu Carvalho Antunes, filho de Antônio Carlos Camilo Antunes, conhecido como “Careca do INSS” e que já está preso pelo mesmo esquema desde setembro.
Investigações do site Metrópoles forçaram a PF a investigar o esquema criminoso para realizar descontos criminosos de valores recebidos por aposentados e pensionistas do INSS, ocorridos no período de 2019 a 2024. Os desvios, conforme as investigações, podem chegar a R$ 6,3 bilhões.
Nesta quinta, a PF e a Controladoria-Geral da União (CGU) cumprem 52 mandados de busca e apreensão, 16 mandados de prisão preventiva e outras medidas cautelares.
A operação foi autorizada pelo Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF) e ocorre nos estados de São Paulo, Paraíba, Rio Grande do Norte, Pernambuco, Minas Gerais e Maranhão, além do Distrito Federal.
Segundo a PF, a organização criminosa atuava de forma estruturada, com núcleos responsáveis pela captação de dados, inserção de informações falsas em sistemas oficiais e ocultação do dinheiro desviado.
As medidas foram autorizadas pelo Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF). Outro alvo da operação é o advogado Eric Douglas Martins Fidelis, filho do ex-diretor de Benefícios do INSS em 2023 e 2024, André Fidelis, que já foi preso pela PF em outra fase da operação
