A filha do cantor Belchior e os outros dois irmãos envolvidos no assassinato do metalúrgico Leizer Buchwieser dos Santos foram condenados pelo crime que aconteceu em agosto de 2019. O julgamento que começou na manhã de terça-feira (22) no Fórum Criminal de São Carlos (SP) terminou por volta das 3h da madrugada desta quarta (23).
Isabela Meneghelli Belchior foi condenada a 9 anos e 10 dias de prisão, sendo oito anos por homicídio e um 1 ano e 10 dias por ocultação de cadáver.
Os irmãos Estefano Rodrigues e Bruno Thiago Dornelas Rodrigues foram condenados a mais de 12 anos cada, sendo dez anos, dez meses e 20 dias pelo homicídio e um ano, dois meses e onze dias por ocultação de cadáver.
Jaqueline Priscila Dornelas Chaves, namorada de Isabela e irmã dos condenados, foi absolvida das acusações e está em liberdade. Ela, Isabela e o irmão Estefano estavam presos desde 2020, enquanto Bruno foi preso em 2021.
Após os depoimentos dos réus, em que todos declararam que Jaqueline não estava no local do crime, o Tribunal do Júri entendeu que ela não teve participação no homicídio e na ocultação de cadáver.
A advogada Sandra Mara de Oliveira, que defende os irmãos Estefano e Bruno, informou que não vai recorrer da decisão.
O metalúrgico desapareceu em 26 de agosto de 2019, depois de sair de casa para trabalhar. O carro que ele usava foi encontrado queimado em um canavial e o seu corpo foi achado por um sitiante com as mãos e os pés amarrados, em uma mata na região rural da Babilônia, em 1º de setembro.

“Sabiam que a vítima queria cometer um crime e extorquiram a vítima no local e se apropriaram do dinheiro”, afirmou o delegado que comandou as investigações, Gilberto de Aquino.
De acordo com o delegado, Santos foi até uma casa, no Jardim Tangará, onde as duas mulheres e a criança o esperavam. Elas pegaram o dinheiro e começaram a xingá-lo, mas ele reagiu e agrediu uma delas. Os outros homens entraram na briga e esfaquearam o metalúrgico.
Após o crime, o grupo abandonou o corpo em uma área e o carro em outra área. De acordo com Aquino, o combustível usado para queimar o carro foi comprado pela Jaqueline.
