Imagine ir a um parque para se divertir em uma nova atração e sair decepcionado, com a bunda doendo? Isso ocorreu com visitantes de um famoso parque de Detroit, em Michigan (EUA), que foi forçado a fechar um tobogã poucas horas após a inauguração do brinquedo, devido a problema com a segurança.
Vídeo compartilhado nas redes sociais na última sexta (19/8) mostra que o problema relacionado ao tobogã é tão grave que pode resultar na reconstrução da atração. Tudo porque o design do brinquedo deixou as ondas muito proeminentes, fazendo com que os usuários sejam jogados para o alto.
Segundo o site britânico LAD Bible, o famigerado e novo tobogã chamado Giant Slide está instalado no parque Belle Isle Park, em Detroit. Ele precisou ser fechado depois de apenas quatro horas da inauguração justamente por arremessar as pessoas para o alto de forma irregular. Ele provocava uma queda tão brusca que dá para ouvir na gravação o som das batidas dos usuários no metal que cobre a atração.
Uma testemunha, citada pelo site, descreveu como “imprudente” os responsáveis pelo parque terem liberado o brinquedo com o erro tão grave e que quase machucou seriamente muita gente.
“O que notei foi o impacto que eles estavam atingindo no chão ao descer o tobogã. Se pessoas continuassem andando nesse escorregador, alguém teria se machucado”, comenta a americana Kenyatta McAdney, que estava presente na inauguração do brinquedo.
A explicação dada para o fechamento do tobogã era de que precisavam retocar a cera usada para ajudar no deslizamento dos usuários.
“Espero que, após nosso pequeno ajuste, voltemos a funcionar e o tobogã seja mais lento, gerando mais diversão”, afirmou Joel Thomas, supervisor do parque Belle Isle, citado pelo site britânico, mas o brinquedofoi fechado para reformas.
