O deputado federal Elias Vaz, do PSB de Goiás, investiga por que o Exército gastou R$ 3,5 milhões para comprar 60 próteses penianas infláveis de silicone.
O deputado Elias Vaz, do PSB de Goiás, e o senador Jorge Kajuru, do Podemos do mesmo estado, pedirão investigação ao Tribunal de Contas da União (TCU) e ao Ministério Público Federal (MPF) para determinar por que o Exército comprou 60 próteses penianas infláveis no valor de R$ 3,5 milhões.
O Portal da Transparência e o Painel de Preços do governo federal apontam que foram feitos três pregões eletrônicos no ano passado para comprar os produtos, cujo comprimento varia entre 10 e 25 centímetros.
Um segundo certame estabeleceu, no dia 21 de maio de 2021, a aquisição de 20 próteses, ao custo de R$ 57.647,65 cada, para o Hospital Militar de Área de Campo Grande (MS). A empresa fornecedora foi a Quality Comercial de Produtos Médicos Hospitalares LTDA.
O terceiro pregão determinou, no dia 8 de outubro de 2021, a compra de 30 próteses, cada uma orçada em R$ 60.716,57, para o Hospital Militar de Área de São Paulo. A empresa Lotus Medical Distribuidora e Comércio de Produtos Médicos Eireli foi encarregada de fornecer as unidades.
O produto é indicado para casos de disfunção erétil. Segundo o portal do médico Drauzio Varella, as próteses infláveis podem durar entre 10 e 15 anos. O valor delas costuma superar os R$ 50 mil.
Na segunda-feira (11/4), Vaz pediu explicações ao Ministério da Defesa sobre a compra de 35 mil comprimidos de Viagra para atender as Forças Armadas, também identificada por ele e noticiada pela jornalista Bela Megale. O governo fez oito pregões entre 2020 e 2021 para comprar o remédio, também usado para tratar disfunção erétil.
