Motorista do veículo com placa de Brasília tem crachá de entrada no Congresso Nacional
A Polícia Federal do Pará investiga como crime de lavagem de dinheiro a prisão do motorista que foi flagrado com R$ 2,5 milhões em dinheiro vivo, no porta malas do carro.
Aldo Furtado de Lacerda, de 48 anos, conduzia um Corolla preto quando foi abordado por policiais rodoviários federais durante uma fiscalização no km 81 da BR-010, em Ulianópolis, no Pará.
Aldo tem credenciais que lhe dão acesso ao Congresso Nacional e dirigia o Corolla com placa do Distrito Federal, quando foi parado pela Polícia Rodoviária Federal.
O dinheiro em cédulas de R$ 100, estava armazenado em caixas de papelão, e foi encontrado após equipe da Polícia Rodoviária Federal (PRF) parar o condutor em uma fiscalização de rotina no km 82 da BR-010, em Ulianópolis, no Pará. Ao entrevistar o homem, os policiais notaram contradições nas respostas sobre a atividade profissional dele e da motivação da viagem. Ele foi levado para a Polícia Federal do Pará.
Em nota, a PF afirmou que a ocorrência envolve indício de crime de lavagem de dinheiro, segundo artigo 1º da Lei 9.613/98. De acordo com o superintendente da Polícia Rodoviária do Federal no Pará, Diego Joaquim Patriota, o condutor do veículo demonstrou desconforto assim que avistou a equipe da PRF na estrada. Ao ser questionado sobre o motivo da viagem, o homem alegou que estava indo até Belém encontrar a namorada. Quando perguntado sobre sua profissão, o suspeito disse que era um agente de segurança da Justiça Federal, mas, quando os policiais quiseram saber quais eram suas atribuições deste cargo, ele ficou nervoso e não conseguiu explicar.
Os policiais procederam com uma investigação minuciosa no porta-malas do carro e encontraram quatro caixas com diversos pacotes contendo conjuntos de cédulas de R$ 100, totalizando R$ 2,5 milhões. Questionado sobre a origem do dinheiro, ele afirmou que seria proveniente de atividades com aluguéis de carros. “A gente entende que isso pode ser a ponta de um iceberg, considerando que foi identificado dentre os pertences desse cidadão identificações que davam acesso ao Congresso Nacional”, declarou o superintendente Diego Patriota.
O crime de lavagem de dinheiro fica configurado quando o agente busca esconder a origem ilícita de bens ou valores por meio de mecanismos diversos de ocultação e dissimulação, com a finalidade de dar uma aparência lícita a esses ativos financeiros, como aconteceu na condenação do ex-presidente Luis Inácio Lula da Silva, nos casos do Triplex do Guarujá e do sítio de Atibaia.
