Ministro do STF excluiu limitação da participação de mulheres no concurso público em andamento para o quadro da Polícia Militar do Distrito Federal
O ministro do Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF), Cristiano Zanin homologou nesta quinta-feira (26), um acordo que exclui a limitação da participação de mulheres no concurso público para o quadro da Polícia Militar do Distrito Federal (PMDF).
O concurso público que está em andamento, estava suspenso desde que Zanin acolheu em setembro, um pedido de medida cautelar do Partido dos Trabalhadores (PT), questionando o percentual de 10% das vagas para mulheres e 90% para homens.
O número percentual é previsto pela Lei nº 9.713, de 25 de novembro de 1998, que regulamenta o quantitativo masculino e feminino do efetivo da Policia Militar.
Após acordo entre representantes da Procuradoria-Geral do Distrito Federal (PGDF), da Polícia Militar do Distrito Federal (PMDF), da Advocacia-Geral da União (AGU) e do Ministério da Justiça, foi decidido o prosseguimento do certame sem as restrições de gênero previstas no texto original do concurso.
