Mais da metade da população percebeu que as chuvas diminuíram, segundo pesquisa divulgada pela CNI
A confederação nacional das indústrias divulgou uma pesquisa nesta segunda-feira (11) que mostra a percepção do brasileiro das mudanças climáticas que estão afetando O planeta.
O levantamento mostra que 92% dos brasileiros notaram aumento temperatura. As transformações percebidas pelos brasileiros são causadas, em grande parte, pelas mudanças climáticas.
Para 66% houve uma diminuição no regime de chuvas e 55% perceberam os rios mais secos.
A pesquisa mostra também que 91% dos brasileiros consideram o aquecimento global grave e 61% acreditam que essa é uma questão imediata, que deve ser combatida com urgencia.
“Os dados recentes sobre as mudanças climáticas confirmam a importância de acelerarmos as ações voltadas à adaptação e à redução dos impactos de secas, enchentes, ondas de calor e frio intensos, e outros fenômenos extremos, que vêm causando enormes prejuízos sociais e econômicos em todo o mundo”, destaca o presidente da CNI, Ricardo Alban.
Em relação às prioridades para conservação ambiental, 30% citaram o tratamento de água e esgoto, seguido pelo combate ao aquecimento global e às mudanças climáticas (27%) e ao desmatamento (25%).
Cerca de 38% dos brasileiros consideram o desmatamento florestal como a maior ameaça ao meio ambiente para o Brasil; outros 23% acreditam que as mudanças climáticas e o aquecimento global são os mais prejudiciais.
O levantamento questionou como está a percepção dos brasileiros em relação ao combate a crimes ambientais. Em relação ao garimpo ilegal, 32% pensam que melhorou, e 33%, que piorou.
Sobre o combate ao desmatamento ilegal, 30% dos entrevistados responderam que o país melhorou neste quesito; outros 33% acreditam que houve piora.
O estudo ouviu 2.021 pessoas nos 26 estados brasileiros e no Distrito Federal. As entrevistas foram realizadas entre 18 e 21 de novembro. A margem de erro é de 2 pontos percentuais, para mais ou para menos.
